We are able to support the Ezone by applying for grants to fund equipment and to pay for activities. The group was established in 2005.

Here are some of our achievements:-

  • a successful "Awards For All" bid of £4950.00
  • activity events for children and adults including pond dipping, making bird boxes, apple pressing and Christmas decorations
  • raising funds on stalls at open evenings and summer fayre
  • taking over 100 people to Conkers in the National Forest
  • an application towards a wind turbine for the Environment Zone
  • the purchase of 2 benches for the Ezone
  • "Green Exercise " events to help with the maintenence of the Zone with help from the BTCV
