Meet the Ezone team

The Ezone has one full time member of staff and a team of field officers who provide activites at the zone and run outreach workshops.

Dislikes: wastage, unnecessary record keeping and tick boxes

I like helping young people to learn about, and to appreciate the wonderful world which we all share!

Dislikes: Rudeness and snobbishness in anyone, Shopping, Litter.

Favourite thing about the Ezone is the camaraderie and being able to share my love of the outdoors with children.

My favourite aspect of the Ezone is the pond because it's full of the most amazing creatures!

My favourite thing about the Ezone is motivated and inquisitive children, with awe and wonder in their eyes

I enjoy working at the zone because the children enjoy the freedom to explore.

I like the way the wildlife reclaims it when all the visitors and staff have gone home.

At the Ezone I like seeing the amazed look when a child catches the first newt.
