Installing a wind turbine takes a lot of people and different skills. The turbine installation was organised by Dulas a company with expertise in all sorts of alternative energy installations.

Bob Robarts from Sustainergy installed our turbine on the concrete base. Bob also wired up the electrical cables into the school system.

None of this would have been possible without the support of Clear Skies and Scottish Power Green Energy Trust who provided grants for the work to take place. Money was also given by the North Dudley Ward Committee and the Friends of the Environment Zone. Thanks to Debbie Cartwright from Hestia for her help and advice.
